Supreme Court Slaps Øbama On Birth Control Mandate

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that some corporations can hold religious objections that allow them to opt out of the new health law requirement that they cover contraceptives for women.
The justices' 5-4 decision is the first time that the high court has ruled that profit-seeking businesses can hold religious views under federal law. And it means the Obama administration must search for a different way of providing free contraception to women who are covered under objecting companies' health insurance plans.
(more here)
I honestly thought they SCOTUS would rule the other way. But as you can see, it was 1 vote away with the 5-4 decision. Think about that. 1 vote could have been another nail in the coffin for freedom of religion, which was once protected by the First Amendment. Don't agree with gay marriage? Too bad, you must bake that couple a gay marriage wedding cake. Your religion doesn't allow for same sex couples to be wed? Too bad, you will perform a gay wedding ceremony in your place of worship for same sex couples. (coming soon to the USA)

Our form of government is sound. It's the people running it that are not. Voting doesn't work when the system is rigged and when checks and balances are not implemented and utilized. Law-making law-breakers are given a slap on the hand and allowed to continue drawing pensions from the people they misrepresented. Representatives don't. Except for their own self interests.

Summer is here. If you haven't started training yet, get to it. The learning curve will be steep if you haven't started yet.

In other news, Sandra Fluke is now seeking alternative methods of birth control.

Federal Judge Upholds Colorado Magazine Capacity Limit

More dog and pony show from Commierado.
A federal judge on Thursday upheld Colorado's new gun-control laws that mandated background checks for all gun sales and limited the capacity of ammunition magazines to no more than 15 rounds.

U.S. District Chief Judge Marcia Krieger issued her 50-page ruling on the 2013 laws after a two-week civil trial in Denver.

The lawsuit was originally filed by plaintiffs including sheriffs, gun shops, outfitters and shooting ranges. Krieger ruled last year that the sheriffs could not sue the state in their official capacities but they could join the lawsuit as private citizens.

Krieger determined that the plaintiffs lacked standing in their lawsuit
If private citizens lack standing on a lawsuit that pertains to the BILL of RIGHTS, such as this, then who does have standing?

Govt Wanted Escort Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children Back In January 2014

How did the U.S. government know, back in January, that up to 65,000 unaccompanied illegal alien children would be arriving?

Someone was doing some back door secret talks. This is not coincidence.

Colorado Governor Hickenlooper's "What the f*ck?" To Sheriffs Group Caught On Video

Governor John Hickenlooper brought out the big verbal weapons during a Friday meeting of Colorado law enforcers on Friday, saying, "What the fuck?" after Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith didn't immediately accept his apology for failing to consult with the group before signing gun laws they oppose. And lucky for us, it was all caught on video.

Nice try Hickenlooper. You're full of it.

How about you follow up your weak, insincere apology by repealing that magazine capacity ban you signed into an unenforceable law and resign your sorry-ass excuse for a governor? Then we might believe you.

This is the biggest OPEN CARRY 2nd Amendment March in Colorado. We had
well over 500 armed Patriots march last year and this year looks even better. The march spawned copy cat events all over Colorado last year. We made local, state and national news.
